The 27° you didn’t know you were missing

One thing every man should be asking himself on a regular basis is, “how can I be better in bed?”

Whether you’re married, single, or dating, there’s always room for improvement. In fact, most studies show that up to 50% of women aren’t satisfied with their sex lives.

And contrary to popular belief, most performance issues don’t just come down to whether or not you can get it up.

According to Dr. Emily Morse, the famous podcast host of Sex with Emily, an often overlooked factor to great sex is the angles. Dr. Emily says you may not realize that many of our go-to positions are not only not working but can be painful for partners.

To solve for this, she recommends using a wedge pillow. According to her, it can make intercourse feel deeper and easier.

And after seeing the WildNightX Pillow in the post below, I decided to give it a go. Here’s my honest review.

I’m not going to lie, I was surprised by how big of a difference a 27 degree change made. By putting the WildNightX Pillow under my wife’s hips and lifting her pelvis, I not only had more control during penetration but also easier access to the clitoris. My wife also said it felt “deeper”, which was a nice ego boost.

After trying it out in missionary, I placed it under my hips and had her get on top. This had been an old favorite position that she hadn’t been enjoying as much lately but the WildNightX Pillow did the trick. The additional lift took some pressure off of her knees and hips and she just took control. Which I was also very, very into.

I should note that their site also recommends a number of different positions, from spooning to lying from behind and more. We’ve been enjoying the basics a little too much to try anything else but we’re also looking forward to spicing it up in the near future.

Now this is where we were really sold. A few years back we actually tried out a different wedge pillow that was made out of dense foam. While it provided lift, it was also hard as a rock.

Now, you’re thinking, why can’t you just use a regular pillow? I’ll tell you why. A regular pillow is problematic for two reasons: first, it doesn’t hold up under weight, and second, it easily slides out of position during the act.

The WildNightX Pillow sets itself apart by using memory foam that holds its shape, giving it a firm core to maintain lift while still providing a soft linen cover to keep things comfortable. Its non-slip base keeps it from sliding out of position, too.

The cherry on top for my wife is that it doesn’t scream, “sex pillow”. It just looks like a backrest pillow for reading or relaxing in bed, so it’s always on the bed for easy access. Most nights she props it against the headboard and leans back on it to unwind, and nobody would ever guess what else it’s for.

It also comes with a washable linen cover that’s easy to take on and off. It only comes in one color, a gray that goes with pretty much any bedroom.

I was originally a little hesitant about the price (it retails for $169.95) but I was able to get it on sale with a free blindfold. What really convinced me though were the brand’s reviews… and realizing that my wife probably spends this much every time she gets her hair done.
