Moodie Pillow Reviews:
Is It Legit?
We Compared 5 Intimacy Pillows Buyers Look At Next (2026 Edition)
If you are reading Moodie pillow reviews, you like the idea and want to know if the store is safe to order from. Fair question. One Reddit user called these "the sex wedge pillows I see advertised everywhere now", and another asked what every shopper wonders: "Just curious if these things are worth it or if we should just keep using a pillow."
Short answer: The pillow is real: a 27° memory foam wedge, and buyers who like it praise the angle. The doubts in Moodie pillow reviews are about the store: guarantee complaints, return hassles, and a 2.4 out of 5 score on Trustpilot. If you like the Moodie idea, our pick is the WildNightX Pillow: the same 27° idea, published size and weight rating, and a store rated 4.8 on Trustpilot.
One Reddit user asked for exactly what you want before ordering: "Just looking for recommendations for anyone that's got one they use frequently and enjoy, or if folks have tried a sex pillow and ended up discarding it." So we read the Moodie reviews, then put The Original Moodie Pillow next to 4 other intimacy pillows that buyers look at next.
Our review covered each brand's published specs, written guarantees, and buyer reviews on Trustpilot, Reddit, and brand review pages. Moodie figures were checked on October 4th, 2026.
Why so many couples look at these pillows, according to a sex therapist
"They're a must-have for any couple wanting to explore new positions."

⚡ Quick Summary: Our Pick for Most Couples
WildNightX Pillow
The Moodie tops our list because the 27° idea works. But the store behind it gets weak reviews. For most couples, our pick is the WildNightX Pillow: the same 27° idea, a published size and 260+ lb rating, and a store rated 4.8 on Trustpilot, at $124.95 with a free Blindfold.
How We Compared
Each pillow was judged on the pillow itself and on the store you'd order from:
- Angle and foam, from each brand's own product page
- Published size and weight rating, so you know what's arriving
- The store's record: Trustpilot score and what buyers say about refunds and returns
- Guarantee wording, and whether it matches what buyers report
- Price and free gifts
- Real buyer words from Trustpilot, Reddit, and brand review pages, plus published advice from sex educators and therapists
1. The Original Moodie Pillow: Good Pillow, Shaky Store
#1Price: $124.95 (list price $194.95)
Moodie sells three Moodie pillows at trymoodie.com: The Original, a Positioning version ($144.95), and a Pillow Lite ($79.95). It's one of the most advertised intimacy pillows on Facebook and Instagram, which is why so many people end up searching Moodie couples pillow reviews.
The Pillow: Good news first. It uses a fixed 27° angle, 60 kg/m³ memory foam, a detachable head rest, a non-slip base, and a removable cover. The 27° idea works, and buyers who like it on Trustpilot praise the angle and the solid build.
Pros:
- A smart 27° design with dense memory foam
- Head rest, non-slip base, and removable cover
- Happy buyers say the angle really works
Cons (all about the store, not the pillow):
- Guarantee complaints on Trustpilot: "They said they would happily refund us 20%" and "So I guess the 30 day guarantee refund is not true"
- Return hassles: "when I requested to return ours, all I have received from them are questions, hassles"
- Trustpilot score of 2.4 out of 5 from 55 reviews, with 48% at one star (checked October 4th, 2026)
- No size and no weight rating published on the product page
Who It's Best For: Shoppers who want this exact pillow and are comfortable with the store's record after reading the reviews.
2. WildNightX Pillow: Our Pick for Most Couples
★ Editor's Pick · Best OverallPrice: $124.95 (Currently discounted from $169.95)
Current Deal: Buy 1, Get 1 Free: every WildNightX Pillow ships with a free Blindfold. Bundles add an Egg Vibrator and a second free gift, a Leather Handcuff. Deals change often, so check the product page for today's price and bundle gifts.
The WildNightX fixes what #1 gets wrong. Both are built on the same 27° wedge idea. The difference is the store behind it, and what it tells you before you pay.
What Sets It Apart: WildNightX publishes its numbers: 60 × 40 × 30 cm, 60 kg/m³ memory foam, rated for 260+ lbs. It uses one guarantee wording everywhere, the 30-Day Guarantee. And its store is rated 4.8 on Trustpilot from 190 reviews. As OB/GYN Dr. Jennifer Lincoln told Refinery29, "Using a pillow to angle the hips up can help with penis in vagina sex, as it can stimulate the anterior vagina."
Pros:
- Fixed 27° angle on 60 kg/m³ memory foam
- Published size and a published 260+ lb rating
- Store rated 4.8 on Trustpilot from 190 reviews
- Backed by the WildNightX 30-Day Guarantee, the same wording under every buy button
- Silicone grip base and a removable, machine-washable linen cover
- Looks like a gray throw pillow and ships in discreet packaging with no product or store name outside
Cons:
- Same $124.95 price as the Moodie, so you're choosing the store, not saving money
- Only the cover is machine-washable; the foam core is not
- One size, one gray color
Who It's Perfect For: The WildNightX is ideal for couples who read the Moodie reviews, still love the 27° idea, and want a store with a stronger record before they pay.
User Experience: The review that stood out came from Faisal A., a verified WildNightX buyer, right after their first try:
★★★★★✓ Verified Buyer
"I am very happy to tell you that the pillow is absolutely fantastic! My wife and I have already tried it, and we both had a wonderful experience. My wife felt very comfortable using it."
"This will certainly not be our last experience with WildNightX."

3. Liberator Wedge
#3Price: $120.00
The long-running classic. Its product page shows hundreds of reviews with names and dates, which is the kind of record Moodie shoppers are looking for.
Pros:
- Dense foam its fans trust
- Published size (24 × 14 × 7 in) and a stated 27-degree angle
- Hundreds of real reviews right on its product page
Cons:
- One reviewer said "it flattens out with her just laying on it" about his 130 lb wife
- A plain foam ramp with no head support or body contour
- No weight rating published
How It Compares: A trusted name with a simpler shape. The WildNightX keeps the 27° angle and adds a contoured body, a head pillow, and a 260+ lb rating.
4. Tabu The Prim
#4Price: $195.00
The designer option, and on Reddit's best-wedge threads it's one of the two names that come up most, with Liberator.
Pros:
- Designer look in Natural and Charcoal
- Real fans: "The first time in a long time that I had zero hip pain."
Cons:
- $195 with no sale, the priciest pillow here
- Tabu's own ads describe a gentler 20-degree lift
- Some buyers doubt the value: "Not convinced it's worth what I paid"
How It Compares: Strong word of mouth, but about seventy dollars more than the WildNightX for a gentler lift.
5. Comfy Sleepers Comfort Support Pillow
#5Price: $49.99 (list price $160)
The budget pick, and one of the few brands that prints its size and weight limit.
Pros:
- Lowest price in our comparison
- Published size (22.8 × 15 × 9.1 in) and weight limit
Cons:
- Rated for only 0 to 132 lbs
- Buyers say it collapses: "Its so soft and just crumples under any weight at all"
- Trustpilot score of 3.1 out of 5 from 240 reviews, with 25% one-star
How It Compares: Cheap and honest about its limits, but those limits are low. The WildNightX is rated for 260+ lbs.
